Our Services and Responsibility

JD Bookkeeping Solutions provides professional bookkeeping, payroll administration, year-end preparation, and related business advisory services. We do not provide audit, review, or assurance services, and our work should not be construed as such. Clients are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legitimacy of the financial data and source documents provided to us. It is your responsibility to ensure that your business operates in compliance with all applicable regulations. We rely on the information you provide to perform our duties and are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate client data. To provide efficient service, we utilize secure cloud accounting platforms and third-party software tools. While we take industry-standard precautions, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We do not provide legal or professional tax advice; clients should consult with qualified legal or tax professionals for such matters. All intellectual property, including proprietary processes and templates used by JD Bookkeeping Solutions, remains our exclusive property.

Payments, Terms, and Jurisdiction

Fees for our services are billed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice, and late payments may incur interest charges as outlined in your specific engagement letter. We frequently use electronic communications and e-signatures for official documents, which you agree are legally binding. For appointments, we require 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid potential fees. We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your business data, governed by our privacy standards. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Edmonton, Alberta. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. For questions, please contact us at info@jdbookkeepingsolutions.ca.
